Alafaya Trail / Innovation Way is no longer set to be the longest dead end in East Orlando.
Right on the front page of the East Orlando Sun, the answer to our traffic dilemma in Avalon Park has been reached! Although the interchange has been delayed connecting Alafaya Trail and S.R. 528, a connecting road from Alafaya to an existing interchange will be complete by late summer 2009. The connecting roadway will be a 2 lane road and approximately 1 mile in length.
