Waterford Lakes Town Center Farmer’s Market

Waterford Lakes Town Center is now hosting a Farmer’s Market every Saturday, begining today, between 9am and 2pm.

The market is located near Regal Cinemas and features local produce from area farms, as well as arts and crafts and a wine/beer garden.

“What are you doing?”
She asked.

“Hunting Flies”
He responded.

“Oh. ! Killing any?”
She asked.

“Yep, 3 males, 2 Females,” he replied.


Intrigued, she asked…..
“How can you tell them apart?” 

 
 He responded,
“3 were on a beer can,
2 were on the phone.” 

Are You Missing a Kitty Cat Like This?

Waterford Lakes Area- A LARGE cat like this one pictured was in my backyard tonight. By large, I mean not the size of domesticated cat I have often seen. This one was about the size of a labrador. It had a long, thick, bushy tail. Do we have bobcats in our area? I only have a small conservation area to the rear of my house, so I never really expected a wildcat to be living there!

I have noticed that the deer no longer come around so now I’m worried! Somebody please tell me that their outside cat resembles a lynx/bobcat so I can rest assured. This cat did not react to my barking dog and when I came out to see what all the ruckus was about, it slowly left my yard and went back into the conservation. Google is no good for me as I only get results for our transport system when I search for more info.

Easter Jam 2009 at Waterford Lakes Town Center

This Saturday, between 10am and 4pm, Journey Fellowship presents Easter Jam 2009. The festivities include pictures with the Easter Bunny, continuous Easter Egg hunting, bouncy castles, a giant slide, face painting, and live music. The event is located at The Waterford Lakes Town Center inbetween Crispers and Regal Cinemas.
