The bed was purchased at John Lewis in Cambridge, England for $$$. It is a British Double which is the approximate equivalent to an American Full Size. The bed is made of high quality Beechwood (light tone similar to Maple).
Measurements:  78L” x 57.5″W x 16″H

The upholstered headboard is silver or light gray in color.

The memory foam mattress is medium to firm, and after a minute, your body just molds right in- it’s so nice!

Orange County Public Schools Receive an A Grade

The following info is from Orange County Public Schools:

OCPS an “A” for second year in a row

The Florida Department of Education gave Orange County its second consecutive A district grade, accompanying the release of individual school grades. More schools than ever in the history of FCAT testing were graded A or B in Orange County Public Schools.

 OCPS has 114 As and 27 Bs that comprise 82 percent of schools in the district. On average, only 78 percent of schools statewide were graded A or B for 2008-09.

For the first time ever, Orange has no F-rated schools at any level (excluding one independently run alternative school that closed).

Other highlights: 
Three high schools jumped from a D to a B. All three are on Newsweek’s list of the most academically rigorous high schools in the country. They are Cypress Creek, University and Freedom high schools.

 More than 10 percent of Orange County schools (18 of 171) jumped two or more letter grades.

 For 11 straight years – since the beginning of FCAT – Bay Meadows, Shenandoah and Palm Lake elementary schools have scored and kept an A grade.

Orange was one of four A districts among the seven largest in the state.

Avalon Park Free Movie Under the Stars Tonight

Bring a lawn chair or a blanket to this fun, family friendly event in downtown Avalon Park’s town park. Come early because there will be a doggie bowl craft activity and a bounce house to get out all that extra energy!

UCF’s FREE Movie on the Plaza Tonight

UCF Arena kicks off its second annual season of FREE “Movies on the Plaza” on Friday, June 12 with a free screening of “Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe” at Knights Plaza outside UCF Arena on the campus of the University of Central Florida.

Parking is free and the event starts at 7:00 p.m. with show time scheduled for 8 p.m.

The movie will be screened on a 2-story tall screen with surround sound and comfy seating is provided including padded chairs and sofas; however, seats go fast so please feel free to bring your own blanket or chair.

Be sure to arrive early and enjoy local radio station Z88.3 on-site with their air staff distributing prizes on select nights, scavenger hunt, movie trivia and more. Come hungry as servers from the surrounding Knights Plaza eateries including Red Brick Pizza, Jimmy John’s, Maggie Moo’s Ice Cream, and Papa John’s will be taking food orders right at your seat.
